Another greenman guitar for the Earthday show. This one cannot be played because it has no head stock...it's just for art's sake. This one turned out to look a little more sinister than I had intended. The pic's a bit blurry....I'll get a better one later.
Done with acrylic and clear poly.

Oooh, that looks interesting! Do you do this ona regualr basis? I mean it seems people might want to get their guitars made original?!

Yes I do...that is... when I can find abandoned instruments. I don't do art on guitars that cost hundreds of dollars....just those that look like they need some help. :) I'd like to progress to doing art on other people prized guitars but being a musician myself....I tend to shy away. It would be very sad to mess up an instrument that someone uses on a daily basis.

I can absolutely understand that. It must be quite scary to even do it on your own guitar! Maybe it would be interesting to do it on less costly guitars (possibly donated or picked up on flee markets and then to resell them to give them a second life! It would be great for beginning guitarists to have a decent guitar with an original design!!!
Hmmm... have no clue if this would be proifitable though! However the design look quite good :D
Happy creating!

I've only done it on old ones.....I would never paint my Takamine or the ones that we play on a regular basis. I would love to paint an old violin. I've been looking for one.
